The Australian Survey of Social Attitudes (AuSSA)

Australian Election Study

The Australian Election Study (AES) is a mail-back survey that asks Australian voters about their political attitudes and behaviour at the time of the Federal Election. The last AES was fielded in 2004-2005 to coincide with the Federal election held on October 9, 2004. Together, the AES and AuSSA cover a large number of topics about Australia’s political and social attitudes.

AES data is available from the Australian Social Science Data Archives (ASSDA). To order the AES data set, or to use AES data online using Nesstar, or more further information, please visit the ASSDA website for further details at http://assda.anu.edu.au.
